This Privacy Notice explains how John Colin Munialo ("we", "us"), the operator of Go Postify (the "Service"), collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We act as the data controller of the personal data described here.

Information we collect

Account data: name, email address, hashed password, and authentication identifiers when you sign in with Google.
Business profile: business name, industry, description, target customer, and brand voice you enter during onboarding.
Content: post prompts, generated captions and images, scheduling data, and connected social account identifiers.
Support data: messages you send to us.
Usage & device data: log data, IP address, browser and device identifiers, and telemetry used to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your data

To create and maintain your account and provide the Service (contract performance).
To generate posts and images tailored to your brand voice (contract performance).
To publish or schedule content to social platforms you connect (contract performance).
To provide customer support and respond to your requests (contract performance / legitimate interest).
To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve reliability (legitimate interest).
To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share your data with

Hosting and infrastructure providers that operate our database, storage, and application hosting.
Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record, for order processing, subscription management, payment, tax compliance, and invoicing. Paddle acts as its own controller for payment data.
AI providers we use to generate captions and images from the prompts you submit.
Zernio, our social publishing partner, to publish or schedule posts to the social accounts you connect.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
Authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.

International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for such transfers.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet our legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, subject to backups and legal retention requirements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@gopostify.app. We respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege database policies — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
